Music for Memories
We are all aware of the effect music has on
those with dementia. Unfortunately, Andrew Knight who established our Music
Group can no longer continue to play for us for personal reasons. We were
fortunate to find Curly the Busker who joined us on Tuesday 28th September
to entertain us with music, songs and chat, from the 40s to the 60s. Everyone
present, thoroughly enjoyed the morning which set a high standard for the
future. The event is free and you would be welcomed with Coffee / Tea and
biscuits prior to the music. Our next Music for Memories will take place of
Tuesday 26th October 10-30 to 12 noon. Through out the year we will
aim to provide music that will bring back memories of events that occurred
during our younger days, come and join us.
