I started attending the group when my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease 11 years ago. As a carer, it was a lifeline for me, providing me with a lot of support and giving me the opportunity to make some lovely friends. Following my husbands passing, I continue to come along today and volunteer, as I know the help and support the group provides is invaluable to other carers in a similar situation.
